Make Space for Outdoor Meals and Downtime

Where would you like to spend more time outside? Our work as patio builders in Launceston includes patios and pergolas for outdoor living. We build around the area you have, whether you want a place for meals beside the house or a separate seating area in the yard. The available space and the way you'll use it guide the plan.

Start with the position of the table or chairs, then consider access from the house. If you want shelter, explain how much cover you have in mind. An open structure and a covered area create different spaces, even when they occupy the same part of the yard.

Choose the Position and Type of Cover

We consider how the new structure will sit beside the home and other outdoor features. Nearby doors, paths and windows all influence its position. Think about which parts of the area receive sun and where you want cover when you sit outside.

The floor underneath also shapes the plan. You may want to use an existing outdoor surface or include a new deck in the wider project. Let us know which parts you already have and which you want us to build.

Photos or a rough sketch can help explain the relationship between the house and yard. With that context, we can discuss the structure and quote the construction you have in mind.

FAQs

Describe the space you want rather than relying on the name alone. Explain whether you want an open frame or overhead cover, where it will sit and what you'll use it for. We can then discuss the structure that matches your idea.

Consider access from the house, nearby paths and the space around doors or windows. Sun and exposure to weather also matter. We use the available area and your intended use to understand the proposed layout.

Yes, include both in your enquiry if that's what you have in mind. The platform and overhead structure need to work together. Tell us whether a deck already exists or whether you want new construction for the whole area.
